Wondering if you'd be willing to do a deep dive on how Chiefs can beat what the Bucs did or potential other Cover 2 and 4 schemes. Know you did some of this on the Athletic. Just curious if you see some schemes/specific things Chiefs could use next season to combat (in addition to improving the offensive line). Thanks!
Thank you for the effort in delivering far more value than what could be expected! I have not commented much but I have enjoyed your work immensely. Can we now say that Sammy is quite possibly moving on: it is officially Jody Fortsen szn!
Meh. AP just hasn't been the same since Vox took over. The best of the staff writers moved on to bigger and better things, and Pete managed to kill off (or send to AG) the best of the community. It might be petty, but I hate how they ruined what used to be a fantastic place for Chiefs content and community 10 years ago.
I dunno, think you can make a convincing HoF case for Jamaal Charles? One someone can use to make his case now that Terez won't be there to make the presentation? (Just typing that bums me out. Hate it so much.)
Just keep doing what you're doing. You and Nick Jacobs are fantastic. I like the AP guys too. After that, it's mostly white noise. Lombardi, as an example, wrote a crappy article in the Athletic today, which is basically par for the course for most writers these days. Box score analysis or they don't pay enough attention to the Chiefs to understand intracacies and nuance. There is a reason you've done well. We got stuck with guys like Adam Teicher or similar who somehow keep getting a paycheck. Of course we prefer your work over the other options available. I know you're nice so you can't say bad things about other writers but I will. Appreciate what you do, Seth.
I really love the content that you have provided here, Seth. So thank you for making the money well worth it. I hope that Times Ours keeps rolling as well, I am huge fan of the podcast as well. In terms of content that I would like to see moving forward, I am all about breaking down where our weaknesses were this year and identifying potential FA's who we could afford to plug in to cover up some of those flaws.
I'd definitely be interested in a series about how to watch football more intelligently. While I love the content you have here, I routinely find myself falling back into the same routines and making the same criticisms in real time that end up looking stupid once I read your analysis after the fact.
Hopefully there are some things you can share that we can start doing without the benefit of the All-22 after the fact...
I'm not surprised by your success, only worried that we would lose you too the corporations. That scared me the most. You were moving up pretty fast. You are my go too, when it comes to Chiefs content. Thanks for sticking around.
What I really like, and why I subscribed, are the articles that use short videos with the player circled and the explanation of the point you are trying to make. Not just words, which I can find anywhere, but the actual proof from video to back up your commentary. I wouldn't mind if you could slow up some of the motion occasionally to make it easier to track and then show it in real time.
Congrats on your success. I might even pay $1.10/month just to show you are giving 110% to us.
Seriously, this is the biggest online bargain anywhere! Thanks
Yep. No offense to the Athletic, they've got some quality content, but the price was a little high for my public school IT job. I'm really thankful to have a place to get first-rate analysis for a price that's friendly to my pocketbook. Seth does exceptional work.
Love all your content, Seth!!
Thanks for reading!
Content is great each article Seth. Keep it up!

I agree with this.
That's a great idea.

I appreciate you reading, and it SHOULD be Jody Fortsen season hahaha
I would love a podcast with the Arrowhead pride folks

If they ever ask, I'm totally down!

I hate it too. Terez was a great man.
I would love to lay out the HoF case for Jamaal at some point.
Happy for you man
Thanks Mike!

Nick does great work. And yes, it's hard to find good analysis on a national level.
Thanks for the kind words, I'll work to earn them :)
You are the man. Just so glad for you the way things have worked out
YOU are the man, Matt!
How about breaking down some good things other teams do that the Chiefs could adopt? Or just breakdowns of division opponents?
I really like that :)

We are going to keep rolling with Time's Ours!
And I definitely plan on discussing some things I'd address in free agency, both here and at The Athletic!
My favorite things you do are the film breakdowns of players complete with numbers that I can relate to. The more of those you do the happier I am!
Sounds good, and LOTS of chances for those in the offseason!

I like that idea a lot, and have some ideas as to how to recruit help...

I plan on it! I like working for myself.

haha thanks! And I'll try and slow it down when I can :)
Only newsletter I pay and subscribe too. Incredible coverage and breakdown. Your articles have taught me so much about the game!
That's the goal, and I'm glad we're getting there! The more I learn about football, the more I love. And I want to pass that to everyone who wants it.
The price is ridiculous, I get more value from this than the entire Athletic subscription. Keep up the great work!

The whole goal is that price is never an issue, so I'm so glad you're here!
You're very kind! I obviously love The Athletic, so any sort of comparison makes me feel very good!
