Chief in the North Giveaway and Q & A
Come get your questions answered AND win some Super Bowl LIV confetti
You know what we haven’t done in a while? Done a Q&A session and given away some Super Bowl confetti. Let’s change that, shall we?
Thanks to the always-awesome Dani Welniak of KCTV, with whom I’ve had the privilege of working with over the last year, a big chunk of Chiefs history has fallen into my lap.
Super Bowl LIV, for lack of a better phrase, absolutely ruled. It was the best day I’ve had of fanhood, one that drove me to tears (and I’m sure many of you as well). Being gifted a bunch of confetti from that wonderful day has been one of the best privileges/perks I’ve ever received from this job. And because you all rock, I want to spread that joy as much as possible.
Here’s the deal… submit a question below (mailbag-style) in the comment section, then I’ll answer it in the next day or two AND you’ll be entered into the running to win an adorable container of Super Bowl LIV confetti.
An answer and a chance to win. Does it get better? It does not.
Comments can only be made by full-fledged subscribers, so keep that in mind.
If you’re not a subscriber and want to submit a question, all you need to do is subscribe at the link below for 60% off (12 bucks a year) forever. The price of a footlong sub, gets you there. Do it. Then get your question in!
Thanks so much for subscribing, reading and in advance for your questions! This is one of my favorite things about this job.
It’s a great week to be a Chiefs fan, everyone. Now… let’s Q&A! I’ll answer them over the next few days as they roll in, and we’ll be wrapping up Sunday afternoon!
All right all, I just sent the (randomly selected) winner an email. If you didn't get it, maybe next time (and I assure you there WILL be a next time, many more actually!) and thanks so much for the awesome questions! I'm continuing to sift through to make sure every one of them gets answered! You all rock, and I cannot say enough how much I appreciate you.
Seth, Thanks for all the film work. I finds it fascinating. You are the Chief of the North. I am the Chief of the South (San Antonio) without the newsletter. I was at the famous Chiefs vs Raiders game when Ben Davidson speared Len Dawson and Otis Taylor came to protect Dawson a got a HUGE penalty to create offsetting personal fouls. I actually know who the Mack Lee Hill award is for. I cut grass as a kid to buy season tickets when Bobby Bell was returning onside kicks for touchdowns.
All off season we kept hearing on Mahomes needs to get better with his pocket presence. From game one I feel you could see Mahomes struggling trying to be something he is not. The last first down against the Packers was Mahomes being Mahomes. Question: Should the Chiefs just live with Mahomes playing by the FEEL of the game and stop talking about his pocket presence.
